Outside the path of innovative development, Ukraine stands little chance of remaining independent and self-reliant. Doing what comes naturally will not bring Ukrainian society to innovation. It can only happen as the result of comprehensive, consistent social change. In this way, an innovative approach to development is a historical challenge as well as a historical imperative. The International Centre for Policy Studies (ICPS) has been one of the initiators of the development of an innovation doctrine for Ukraine, and ICPS Director Volodymyr Nikitin is one of its authors

Якою має бути інноваційна доктрина України
Поза шляхом інноваційного розвитку Україна не має шансів утримати незалежність і самостійність. Природним шляхом наше суспільство не стане інноваційним – це може статися тільки в результаті комплексу послідовних суспільних змін. Таким чином інноваційний шлях розвитку України – історичний виклик та історична необхідність. Міжнародний центр перспективних досліджень виступив одним з ініціаторів розроблення інноваційної доктрини для України, а директор МЦПД Володимир Нікітін є одним з її авторів
