This policy paper is an outcome of the research project titled Regional Strategic Framework for the EU’s Eastern Policy: Toward a Convergence of the Eastern Dimension of ENP and Common Spaces with Russia supported by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. It was printed also with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic.
The international conference on The Reform of the European Neighbourhood Policy: Tools, Institutions and Regional Dimensions was held in Bratislava on 21 November 2008 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, and the Representation of the European Commission in the Slovak Republic. The conference proceedings focused on discussion of the issues brought up by this paper.
The authors of the paper are research fellows of the Research Center of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association. The content of this paper reflects the opinion of the authors.
