IPA releases two reports on Polish EU MPs
News Source: The Institute of Public Affairs, Poland
Following a public event on the issue, the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) has released findings from two new reports on the performance of Polish representatives to the European Parliament.
Executive summaries of the reports – Polish Members of the 7th European Parliament: Midterm Report and MEP Online: The use of Online Tools by the Polish Members of the European Parliament — were published after a January 16 presentation hosted by IPA in Warsaw. The complete reports will be released this spring.
The summaries reveal, among other findings garnered during research conducted November 2011 to January 2012, is that the Polish MPs are lagging behind in their use of online communications, and that the activity of the MEPs on the Polish political scene strongly limits their capability to be effective in Brussels.
