Adrian Lupusor named Executive Director of Expert-Grup

Adrian Lupusor has been elected Executive Director of Expert-Grup, taking over the post vacated by Valeriu Prohnitchi, who was recently named economic advisor to Moldovan Prime Minister Iurie Leancă.
Lupusor, formerly the Programs Director for Expert-Grup, holds two Master’s degrees from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and Charles University in the Czech Republic, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University.
Prohnitchi is the latest in a line of PASOS-associated think-tank experts who have been tapped by the Moldovan goverment for high-profile positions.
Nicu Popescu, a former PASOS board member, was an advisor to the last prime minister, Vladimir Filat. Igor Munteanu, another former PASOS board member, is the Moldovan Ambassador to the United States.
