This new Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) report, written by PASOS board member Piotr Kaźmierkiewicz, assesses the effectiveness of EU support for the Eastern Partnership countries, highlighting shortcomings and suggesting solutions that should be implemented within the new EU financial perspective.
The study reviews the ways in which the EU provides support and cooperates with civil society in its neighbourhood, in light of recent EU statements and proposals, reports from CSOs, and developments in in the Eastern and Southern neighbourhoods.
A series of follow-up information workshops will be held in the four participating countries of the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme, within the framework of the second call for proposals in the areas of sustainable economic development, tourism, nature and environmental protection, and cultural cooperation. The workshops will take place between 1 and 8 September.
