Webinar: Legal aspects of open access to data in public sector (+video)

aogThe Center for Euro-Atlantic Studies (CEAS) in Belgrade held this October 17 webinar on the topic of “Legal aspects of open access to data in public sector” as part of a PASOS project on open government.

On this occasion, Mr. Djordje Krivokapić, Associate Lecturer at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences of the University of Belgrade and Legal & Policy Director of the Share Foundation in Serbia, and Jelena Adamović, legal researcher at the Share Foundation in Serbia will present open data concept, differences between the concepts of open data, free access to information and request for reuse of information, PSI Directive and its revision, open data portals and dilemmas in open data implementation in Serbia.

The webinar is part of the EU-supported Advocacy for Open Government PASOS project, aimed at encouraging governments in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia to become more transparent, accountable and engaging of citizens.
